MRSM Jasin 4C Class Reunion

After a memorable Iftar at the Grand Bluewave Hotel, we had another gathering with my old friends from my Form 4 class in MRSM Jasin, (class of 1997). I havent met most of them for the past 14 years and it was a great time to catch up. Most of us are married with 2-3 children, some very much succeeded in their carrier, but the warmth was still all the same.

It took place at the Al-Rawsha Restaurant in Kg Pandan on the 20th August 2011, which co-incide with my girl's 4th birthday. Here's the pics:

We even had an opportunity to celebrate Dina's 4th birthday with my friends & their family...

May this friendship lasts till the end of time.. and may we have many, many more gatherings like this, maybe 5 years from now! :)

Iftar oh Iftar.. Ramadhan 2011.. Grand Bluewave Hotel

Allah has said that there are two type of happiness for those who fast. One is during iftar (breaking of fast), the other one is when s/he is meeting Him.

Iftar this year has definitely been different for me, due to two special events that had took place during iftar of the 18th and 20th of Ramadhan..

On the 18/8/11, our business company held a grand Iftar with all the top leaders in the Grand Bluewave Hotel. It was a blast as we had the beautiful venue with delicious menus with the people we loved dearly... let's let the pics talk.. :)

Kisah katak!

A group of frogs were hopping contentedly through the woods, going about their froggy business, when two of them fell into a deep pit. All of the other frogs gathered around the pit to see what could be done to help their companions. When they saw how deep the pit was, the rest of the dismayed group agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate, because they were as good as dead.

Unwilling to accept this terrible fate, the two frogs began to jump with all of their might.
Some of the frogs shouted into the pit that it was hopeless, and that the two frogs wouldn’t be in that situation if they had been more careful, more obedient to the froggy rules, and more responsible.

The other frogs continued sorrowfully shouting that they should save their energy and give up, since they were already as good as dead. The two frogs continued jumping as hard as they could, and after several hours of desperate effort were quite weary.

Finally, one of the frogs took heed to the calls of his fellows. Spent and disheartened, he quietly resolved himself to his fate, lay down at the bottom of the pit, and died as the others looked on in helpless grief. The other frog continued to jump with every ounce of energy he had, although his body was wracked with pain and he was completely exhausted.

His companions began a new, yelling for him to accept his fate, stop the pain and just die.
The weary frog jumped harder and harder and - wonder of wonders! Finally leapt so high that he sprang from the pit. Amazed, the other frogs celebrated his miraculous freedom and then gathering around him asked, “Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?”

Reading their lips, the astonished frog explained to them that he was deaf, and that when he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him on. What he had perceived as encouragement inspired him to try harder and to succeed against all odds.

♥ Moral ♥ : This simple story contains a powerful lesson. Your encouraging words can lift someone up and help him or her make it through the day. Your destructive words can cause deep wounds; they may be the weapons that destroy someone’s desire to continue trying - or even their life. Your destructive,
careless word can diminish someone in the eyes of others, destroy their influence and have a lasting impact on the way others respond to them.

Jom try!

Selamat berbuka puasa & bertarawikh! Jgn lupa download applikasi QuranMajeed dari AppStore supaya mudah bertadarus nanti :)

DAGING CINCANG MASAK GULAI BEREMPAH
Oleh Ramlee

Bahan-bahan
1.5 kg daging cincang
[Biasanya daging ini bercampur isi/lemak/paru/hati dsb. - harus pandai memilih untuk
membelinya, agar tidak terbanyak sangat lemak]

Bahan A
3 cawan santan pekat
5 sudu rempah kari
6 sudu cili boh
Sedikit gula melaka
Daun pudina [jika suka]
Daun pandan

Bahan B [Di blender]
1 labu bawang besar
4 ulas bawang putih
3-4 batang serai dimayang
sedikit halia

Bahan C
I kelopak bunga lawang
1/2 sudu cengkeh
4-5 biji buah pelaga
3 inci kulit kayu manis

Minyak untuk menumis [jika suka, gunakan minyak sapi]

Cara-caranya:
Daging hendaklah dibersihkan dan ditoskan dulu. Gaulkan dengan "bahan B"
berserta rempah kari dan perapkan buat seketika.

Panaskan minyak dan tumiskan "bahan C" sehingga bangkit baunya. Masukkan

Alhamdulillah...

Saya suka nak berkongsi dgn sahabat-sahabat tips-tips me didik Anak berpuasa dari Wardina Safiyyah.. Semoga bermanfaat utk Kita semua :)

http://soaljawab.wordpress.com/2008/09/02/amalan-di-bulan-ramadhan/

Selamat beramal!
